i'm a 17 year old girl. i was in a building i don't know what kind of building it was, maybe my house or the student quarters of my university but at that time there was no electricity and i was bored so i decided to go out to a nearby university i took out this gigantic bag and loaded it with stuff i don't really remember and took transport to the university the bag was so heavy i had to slouch forward just to carry it, i then arrived at the university but when i saw it it was more like a skyscraper tower than a university overall it was very beautiful and when i entered the building it was even more beautiful i started to wander around, i went through a corridor and took a turn then i saw this short barricade like a picket fence height and there were students on each side reading a book, i suddenly looked up and took a look at my surroundings and realized there was no electricity in the school either i asked the guy at my side if i could pass the barricade to the other side he replied "if you want to. but there's a corridor that leads to the other side of the barricade", but being stubborn and not wanting to go through the stress i dropped the bag to make it easier to jump over the barricade while i was attempting to jump i was looking at their faces to see if there was any reaction, displeasure, disgust or just anything that said what i'm doing is weird but i was actually suprised to notice the both didn't care so i jumped down and moved my bag to were i was and continued my exploring i passed people on the corridors either gisting with friends or reading a book i kept exploring until i came upon an elevator i pressed the button even if i doubted it would work due to the electricity but surprisingly it did, so i stepped inside and saw that the floor numbers reached 89 floors so i picked a floor at random and went to one of the upper floors, once the elevator door opened i was met with people going around and i was hearing things like "the deadline of the project is due today" and all sorts, it looked like an office setting but the people were definetly students so i was just going around no one paid any mind to me and i liked that after i explored the floor and all it had to offer this time i took the stairs to the floor above the one i was in while taking the stairs i saw a door, it looked like an office door and it was left slightly open so i peeked through it a little and saw a girl with 2 other girls talking about their project i didn't here what they said but i saw a laptop on top it showed an anime that i really loved i guess that was what she was doing for her project because it had writings under the picture, i stood and left continueing climbing the staircase, when i arrived it looked like they were doing renovations the workers weren't there yet but i saw a guy we started talking but i don't remember what we talked about after i took the stairs two floors lower than the one i was on, as i was wandering i saw my ex-boyfriend he smiled and tried to block my way i didn't hate him because it was me who caused our relationship to crumble so i thought he wasn't angry anymore and tried to play along with his joke, when i moved to the other side he tried to block my way again, i did it again and he blocked again i was already smiling when he was walking toward me i thought it was me he was playing with only to find a girl behind me he walked up to her smiling and held her hand and they both started walking off i was so embarrassed and dumbfounded that i stood there, after a while i got over it and continued my journey i was happy for him he found someone that can make him smile. i made a turn down the corrridor to see a restraunt like place when i asked a nearby student they told me it was their cafeteria it looked too pretty to be a cafeteria, i walked inside and saw a vendor at the side of the cafeteria the food she was selling looked delicious and it was a bouffet for a fixed price was what i was told, when i tried to approach the vendor suddenly my grew heavier and it felt like someone was holding me keeping me in place no matter how much i wanted to move the bag was weighing me down so i put it down and went to the vendor then she spoke"you have to say thank you" when i asked why she said "that guy wanted to help you with your bag, it looked like you were struggling", when i turned there was a guy who was in the process of sitting ack down looked worried and was staring at me i turned back and told the vendor i would after buying the food, i asked for the price and she mentioned it was #2500 i thought it was cheap so i went back to the ag on the floor and took out my ATM card and a #2000 bill, i intended to pay with cash and via POS so i went back to the vendor apperently it was also service before payment system so i served myself the food that seemed to pile the entire plate, while i was still serving myself a few of my friends joined me and i was surprised i asked what they where doing here and aern't they supposed to be in our own university, they told me they where bored and wanted to see the school too, soon we where all talking and enjoying each others discussion, after one of my friends payed for their meal i was next i gave the vendor the #2000 bill and proceeded to pay the rest using the POS she gave me but when i tried to type in the amount that was to be deposited there where always problems like the numbers in the type box didn't have specific number i was looking for or the numbers turned to words and it kept happening like that and funnily no one rushed or ridiculed me it was like they weren't even paying attention to me the person with the only POS the vendor had, it kept happening like that until i noticed it was night time everyone had gone even the vendor and all that remaied was my food and the POS i made a mental note to come back the next day and try again, i carried my food picked up the heavy bag and rushed to the exit to try and make it back before they closed the door to the student quarters i was staying in, as i was running i noticed there was electricity and tried using the elevator to get to ground floor but the entrance button was to high up for me to reach luckily someone helped me reach it (i don't know who it was but it was a guy) when i entered into the elevator the buttons weren't high up so i pushed the ground floor button and suddenly the elevator went down like it was plummenting from the sky, i was still able to keep my feet on the ground but i couldn't stay still along with that i had to keep the food from pouring or spilling, finally when the elevator came to a stop i was on the ground floor safe and the food hadn't spilled but as i was running i came across the same barricade so i followed the other corridor that didn't have the barricade and came across the exit only to realize it was raining heavily outside but i had to get back to the quarters so i ran in the rain with the food packaged in my bag and got to the quarters on time with my soaked body i ran up the stairs in my quarters to get back to the room so i can avoid people who like to take a spoon ot of other people's food. that was when i woke up
Dreams can often be a reflection of your subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Your dream is rich with symbolism and key themes that may give insights into your current emotional state and life situation. Let's break it down:
The university in your dream represents learning, personal growth, and discovery. It is a place associated with your future, aspirations, and the social dynamics typical of teenage years. The fact that it's depicted as a beautiful skyscraper implies that you may have lofty ambitions or a desire for something grand in life.
The absence of electricity symbolizes a feeling of disempowerment or a disruption in your life. It could correlate to feelings of uncertainty or frustration as you navigate through your teenage years or academic responsibilities. This theme recurs as you explore the university, emphasizing a sense of struggle or a lack of clarity in your path.
The heavy bag you carry represents burdens or responsibilities that you might feel are too much to handle. Slouching under its weight hints at a sense of being overwhelmed by the pressures of school, relationships, or other aspects of your life. Your decision to leave it behind reflects a desire to simplify or free yourself from these burdens to navigate life more easily.
Your interactions throughout the university highlight your navigation of social dynamics. The students reading on either side of the barricade represent peers and perhaps highlight your own feelings of being on the periphery. Your curiosity about their reactions shows a natural concern for social acceptance. Jumping over the barricade indicates your desire to connect and be involved despite obstacles.
The encounter with your ex-boyfriend portrays unresolved feelings or the process of moving on. While you initially feel embarrassed, it ultimately leads to acceptance and happiness for him, showing emotional growth. This represents a significant step in your journey toward healing from that past relationship.
The cafeteria scene symbolizes a social space for nourishment, both physically and emotionally. The vendor's comments about gratitude suggest a lesson in acknowledging support and kindness from others. This speaks to the idea that, despite the chaos of your life, there is a community around you ready to help.
Struggling with the payment system at the vendor may indicate feelings of inadequacy or frustration in effectively communicating or negotiating your needs. This suggests that you might be feeling blocked in expressing what you want or need in certain situations. The process of trying repeatedly and still not managing reflects perseverance despite setbacks.
The ending of your dream, where you rush back to your quarters in the rain, forms a picture of retreat and return to safety. Rain can signify cleansing and renewal, suggesting a desire for refreshment after emotional difficulties. Your urgency to reach your quarters indicates the need for a safe space amid the chaos of your experiences.
Your dream encapsulates the typical journey of a 17-year-old girl navigating the complexities of life, including academic pressures, social dynamics, and emotional growth. The motifs of struggling with burdens, seeking acceptance, and finding a path toward emotional healing are prevalent. It may also reflect a transitional phase in your life, where you are seeking both independence and connection, all the while learning to let go of what holds you back, accepting help, and acknowledging your progress despite challenges.
Consider reflecting on these themes in your waking life, and think about what steps you can take to lighten your load, deepen your connections with friends, and embrace the learning journey you are on!
